What is the best investment – a 1963-70 Chevrolet truck or Pontiac Trans Am 1979?
Currently I have a Trans Am 79. This oxide solid cars for fun with many options and painting, but it needs a new engine (touch the bar). I am considering selling and buying a Chevy truck from 1963 to 1970 (I am aware body has changed from 63 to 67-'66-'70 but I like both styles.) I know the story of the Firebird, would be a fairly easy restoration if I could find the time and money, but could combine two of my hobbies, if I changed from an old pick-up, because besides the love of classic cars, I am a avid ATV rider and would be a little careful to have an old truck to haul my quad. BUT – I regret the wind such a gesture? It seems that the value of the Trans Am has jumped a little, and classic cars in general seem to be more expensive than conventional trucks. Any opinions?
the truck would be a better investment because trucks are still selling cars, especially in an older model, the Firebird is a beautiful car and thus, the Trans-Am, but usually to sell a truck nice, I had an old Chevrolet truck 66 that I re-stocked a few years ago, and leads not only more of it, I sold it on e-bay for 24 k not bad for an old Chevrolet truck, but will be selling a car every day, including a Chevrolet or Ford, people like the old trucks, still and always will be the most beautiful better to sell, good luck with it.
