Will a 6th generation case fit a 7th generation ipod classic.?

i’m get a ipod 7g ipod and i want to buy a case for it but the only ones i’ m finding are 6g

There is no such thing as a 6th or 7th gen ipod classic…those are really the 1st, 2nd gen ipod classic’s and the 3rd gen ipod classic is the latest and last of the line.
The 1st gen ipod classic has 2 SIZES…80 and 160 gb sizes with the later being fatter, the 2nd gen ipods 120 gb size which is about the same size as the original 80 gb size.
