How much should i sell G.I. Joe action figures for?
I have 3 boxes full of classic GI Joes and other brands of 12 inch action figure, I have been having trouble finding a price. Help?
When you say classic GI Joes are you talking Classic Collection 1996-2003 or Vintage Gi Joes (1964-1976)?
Classic Collection have had a hard time keeping their value. I’ve bought many a figure that sold for $30 in 1996/1997 for $10 recently and that is in package. Loose with accessories are less than that. Loose without equipment/accessories I’ve bought as cheap as $1.
Vintage (1964-1976) tend to hold their value, but aren’t what they were 15 years ago. A figure in good shape runs between $25 and $30. Vintage figures is where the equipment and accessories really come in to their own. Some items didn’t hold up over time and are now rather rare. These items like the scuba suits and red scuba tanks can be worth as much or more than a figure.
Dragon figures with there accessories will hold their price.
The next best figures outside of the current high end figures are 21st Century’s Ultimate soldier and BBI. They are much like the GI Joe Classic Collection figures in price.
There is then Lanard (Ultra Corps figures) M&C Toys Power Team Elite and Formative International’s Soldiers of the World. These figures have little collectors value. However some of their accessories are sought after by customizers.
