Classic Country Hits

Does anyone know where to get a list of all the great classic country music and/or the artists?
I guess my question is simple enough, but it’s difficult to go about doing what I want to do. I have taken a great interest in traditional country music, from early artists like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. But I feel I won’t be satisfied with compilation CD’s. If I bought one, even one with 150 songs, I would still be missing lots of great music. And I would be wasting money too, because I would want to buy another compilation set, which would definatly feature songs from the other set I bought before that.
So what I guess I really want is a list of every single hit classic country song ever made, that way I can decide which CD’s to actually buy. I know that its pretty easy to find a lot of the artists, and buy their Greatest Hits. That’s what I plan to do. Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins are all well known. But I also want to find music from less known artists with big hits. Like one hit wonders in the genre.
Does anyone have any info that can help?
Honestly last.fm is the answer to everything. Just type in Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, or Loretta Lynn and you’ll get similar artists AND their music in no time.
