<p>We live in the land of opportunity. It is filled with abundance and each of us have talents we never  use but we can through the power of choice become whatever we want. Isn&#8217;t it funny that we live in a world of abundance and unlimited potential yet success is not automatic. We have to unleash our inner greatness and self-motivation.</p>
<p>As we adjust to the adversities of life and attempt to fulfill our needs, we stumble upon motivation blocks and lose our creativity. We compromise with fear, weakness, and become demotivated. In order to motivate ourselves again we need to see that these are artificial barriers and know how to deal with them.</p>
<p>We have influences that have conditioned us in to a certain way of thinking or behavior. These influences can be family, our environment, mistakes from the past, and failure. Family influences are especially prevalent as parents may have been conditioned themselves to act and respond in a negative way and this get passed on to us even though we have different talents and abilities than they do. Love for our family makes us loyal to what they taught us. That can be a good thing but not always. You should always weigh it against your own values, beliefs, needs and God- given intuition.</p>
<p>Our environment is another major influence. Many times we let society dictate our conditioning.  The television shows and news alone project images that are artificial and are made for entertaining so we need to keep this in mind and not allow outside influences to determine our morals and beliefs. We have our own value system and talents that are ready to take us to the next level.</p>
<p>Lastly, the influence of past experiences and failures. We need to remember that the past does not equal the future. Mistakes and failures are stepping stones to show us what we do not desire and ultimately by adjusting us to the right steps to take. The fear of failure is a powerful force that needs to be dealt with. It breeds timidity and causes us not to accept a challenge. Failure itself is unimportant; your attitude toward it is the key, for it can strengthen or destroy you. You must acknowledge mistakes and failures then recover and get back on your path. Do not let it stop you from making choices. These choices may be your success &#8211; after all failure is just success turned inside out.</p>

<p>How can you develop a cast iron self discipline and a strong will to succeed?  With Self hypnosis – practical application.</p>
<p>If you haven&#8217;t got good discipline already, for whatever reason, what is the best way to acquire it quickly and effectively?</p>
<p>Through self hypnosis, you relax into a profound trance &#8211; the ideal state for absorbing important new life changing affirmations &#8211; powerful hypnotic suggestions, based on sound psychological research into the roots of success, will be targeted directly into your unconscious mind.</p>
<p>Each time you practice self hypnosis, you will find yourself experiencing a new burst of <em>directed</em> energy and commitment. As you observe what happens in your life on a daily basis, you will steadily notice that you:</p>
<ul>
<li>focus more on your personal and professional goals</li>
<li>learn to pay no attention to those times of self doubt</li>
<li>eliminate procrastination, become a ‘go getter&#8217;</li>
<li>attain and maintain a ‘can do&#8217; attitude</li>
<li>gain a greater sense of satisfaction and self worth</li>

<p><strong> How to practice Self Hypnosis </strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Find somewhere comfortable and quiet, and sit down.</li>
<li>Relax your body by close your eyes and imagine waves of relaxation running down your body from your scalp downwards to your toes.</li>
<li>Feel the muscles in your body relaxing as the waves of relaxation wash over them.</li>
<li>use suggestion to deepen the state of relaxation. This can be as simple as saying: &#8220;I am feeling relaxed and comfortable to yourself. With every breath I am becoming more relaxed and more comfortable…&#8221;</li>
<li>Once you feel completely relaxed, use the affirmation(s) you want to instil, you can mix these in with the relaxation suggestions.</li>
<li>Typical self-hypnosis sessions can last between 15 and 25 minutes; however, they can last for as long as you like.</li>
<li>Finally, once feel good and want to go about your day, reverse the process, imagine yourself more alert and awake, telling yourself you will be ready to open your eyes and go on with your day, feeling great, when your eyes open. Take your time getting up. Then say out loud &#8211; I&#8217;m Wide awake. Rise and shine. This will put your mind back in the conscious state.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>
<p>Self-hypnosis is a practical and effective technique for relaxing deeply. It can be used with or without affirmations, depending on what you want to achieve.</p>
<p>To use the technique, find somewhere comfortable and quiet to sit down. Think about, and prepare, any affirmations that you might want to use. Start by closing your eyes and relaxing your muscles. A good way of doing this is to use imagery. Move on to use suggestion to relax yourself even more. When you feel very relaxed, use any affirmations that you have prepared. Enjoy the state of hypnosis for as long as you like.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.terryposter.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/MindPower.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-184" title="MindPower" src="http://www.terryposter.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/MindPower.jpg" alt="" width="96" height="123" /></a>It has been said that &#8220;the words you use fall down and drape themselves around you.&#8221;   The words we use have a very powerful impact on our subconscious mind.   Whether we use positive or negative words, these words imprint themselves into our subconscious mind and take root and begin to create our reality.   The technique to practice is self awareness.  Too often we are so busy in our lives that we don&#8217;t even pay attention to what we are doing or saying.</p>
<p>Where are the words we use coming from?  It is the simple law of input=output.  What are we putting into our minds?  What are we watching on tv?  Are you watching voyeur shows and terrible news shows, etc.,.  What are we listening to?  Depressing talk radio, junk radio, music with negative lyrics?  Who are we associating with?  People that are progressive positive thinkers or people that spew negativity?   These are some real issues to think about.  These things that we are watching, listening to and the people we associate with are all effecting the words we use and creating our reality good or bad.</p>
<p>If you are not happy with the reality in your life it is time to take a look, a real close look at our choices in life. What are we inputting?   If we are constantly using words and phrases like &#8220;I can&#8217;t afford it&#8221;,  &#8220;My back is killing me.&#8221; &#8220;Rich people are evil.&#8221;  &#8220;Oh they got there because their special.&#8221;   &#8220;I can&#8217;t do that.&#8221;   &#8220;That&#8217;s too hard for me.&#8221;  &#8220;I always have the worst luck.&#8221;  &#8220;I&#8217;m not good enough, strong enough, rich enough.&#8221;   &#8220;It&#8217;s always been that way.&#8221;  , then we are creating this reality in our life and it comes from what we are inputting into our subconscious mind.</p>
<p>The subconscious mind does not care what you put into it, good, bad or ugly, it process the information and causes us to act accordingly to create our reality.   So if we know this, we have the ability to change what we are inputting to get the results we are looking for.  That thought only is exciting.   Below is a video I found on you tube that speaks of the power to manifest our reality through our thoughts and words.  Enjoy, to your success,</p>

You even know you procrastinate, but you still linger in lethargic thought.</p>
<p>Though taking action can intimidate and frighten you, but it can also empower you!  If you learn to use it effectively, it can provide the fuel to keep you moving forward toward creating  fulfilling life circumstances.  When you do this, you realize that there was never anything to fear in the first place, and you’ll never get stuck again!  You just have to realize that with many things in life, taking that first step and getting started is always the hardest part, but once in motion, there is no stopping momentum.</p>
<p>Below are three simple steps that show you how to get started:</p>
<p>1)    First, be sure you understand that your life is the way it is right now because of your hesitation in taking action!  It is a fact that everyone is where there are in there life because of the thoughts and actions.  This is important, because you’ll understand the importance of moving forward no matter how anxious it makes you feel at first.  It is only up from here.</p>
<p>Then, decide on one action to take to get the ball rolling.  Think about your life right now, and ask yourself which situations you want to change first.  You might choose your career, relationships, health, financial situation, or anything else that makes you feel powerless and stuck.  Then think about one simple action you can take to inspire some positive change.  It doesn’t have to be a huge action, just SOMETHING to start building momentum. Remember this quote by Jim Rohn-&#8221;Success is just a few small disciplines practiced everyday.&#8221;</p>
<p>2)    Once you’ve decided on your action step, you’ll have to push yourself to take it no matter what!  This may seem incredibly difficult or even scary, but remember that most often the things you fear are not going to happen.  The Acronym for fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.  In fact, you may not even have a clear reason for feeling scared – you’re just afraid of the “unknown”.  Give yourself a pep talk or push yourself in any way you have to in order to move forward at least a little bit.  After you take that first step, be sure to let go of any expectations of the things that will happen because of it, and allow yourself to feel great simply because you did something about it!</p>
<p>3)    Repeat with the same step, and/or others.  Once you’ve taken one step forward, you’ll need to keep pushing yourself to take others.  Consider this:  Even if you take a hundred small steps in a month, you’ll be putting forth positive effort to make changes in your life, which cannot help but bring about better circumstances!  In a very short period of time, you will be amazed on how empowered you feel.</p>
<p>The good news is that taking action quickly begins to build momentum.  Just as chronic non-action can create a cycle of negativity and stagnation over time, being proactive can create a positive cycle that continues to grow!  It gets easier the more you do it, which eventually makes it seem almost effortless – and you continue to empower and strengthen yourself with every step you take.</p>

<p>The Subconscious mind is a powerful thing and when you consider that low self-esteem and lack of confidence is usually the result of negative messages being absorbed by the subconscious, it makes sense that feeding your mind more positive messages can make a powerful difference!</p>
<p>What stops most people is the uncertainty of what to say, and how to word affirmations for optimal effectiveness.  Below you’ll find some simple tips to help you write effective affirmations for improving your self-esteem.</p>
<p>1) Present tense.  First, it’s helpful to word affirmations in present tense, not future.  You wouldn’t want to say, “I will learn to love myself” because that makes it sound like you’ll get around to it “someday.”  Instead you could say, “I choose to love myself.”  The wording of that affirmation does two things:  it empowers you with the addition of the words “choose to,” and it puts the timeframe in the present moment.</p>
<p>2) Believable.  At the same time, your affirmations should be believable to you.  If you tried to say, “I am a wonderful person with a lot to offer the world,” you may not really believe that, so your subconscious mind might reject it.  Instead, try to focus on a process rather than an end result in your affirmations.  Say something like, “I am learning to embrace my uniqueness and share it confidently with others.”</p>
<p>3) Use the right tone.  When you recite affirmations, you can do so aloud or just mentally, but you should focus heavily on the TONE you use.  Rather than saying the words without emotion like you were reading a newspaper – really inject an element of love and tenderness into them.  Your subconscious mind picks up on the emotional aspect of what you’re saying more than the actual words.  Imagine the difference between saying the words, “I really love myself” with a tone of love and compassion, or sarcasm.  Which do you think would have a greater impact on your subconscious mind?</p>
<p>4) Repetition.  Once you’ve got some affirmations formed to work on your self-esteem, try saying them several times a day.  Remember, your subconscious mind is constantly playing back old, negative messages – so you want to counteract those as much as possible.  Keep reciting your more positive thoughts on a regular basis &#8211; especially when you become aware that you’re thinking negatively about yourself.</p>
<p>5) Give it time.  It does work.  Try to really feel the words you are using emotionally.  This will fuel your fire inside and quicken the process. Finally, remember that it will take time to change those old, negative messages in your mind to something more positive.  It may take a few weeks or even months before you’ll notice an obvious difference in how you feel, and you may be tempted to think it isn’t working.  Keep with it, and you will begin to see a difference eventually!  Most likely it will be a gradual change.  Little by little you’ll start feeling more positive, and notice that you’re feeling a bit happier and lighter.  That’s your signal that it’s working!    To your success,</p>

<p>Your <em>comfort zone</em> is just this, &#8220;uncomfortable&#8221;, but many things that present themselves to you that make you uncomfortable are usually <a href="http://9f159nmgb09u5o940un0xlxgf3.hop.clickbank.net/" target="_blank">great growth opportunities</a>.  Growth opportunities that will expand your being.  The more uncomfortable you are, the bigger the chance for growth.  For me and many others, it was public speaking.  I got the opportunity to speak while building a successful network marketing business.  The group I was with wanted me to share with others what had made us successful.  Well, the closer the day came for me to speak, the less sleep I got.  I was a nervous wreck the day of the talk and I was terrible up there in my opinion, but I got through it, and people seemed to appreciate what I was able to offer.</p>
<p>From then on I got a little better each time I was asked to speak, however I am still not a great speaker, but the point is by facing my fear, I feel I expanded myself tremendously, and since have been able to recognize and take on more and more <em>comfort zone</em> opportunities as they arose and my growth expanded rapidly.   I had never felt so confident.  I was becoming a new, better version of myself.  I was ready to take on more and more.</p>
<p>Picture yourself as a circle. Everything inside that circle is your <em>comfort zone</em>.  Everything outside your circle are <a href="http://9f159nmgb09u5o940un0xlxgf3.hop.clickbank.net/" target="_blank">growth opportunities</a>.  Now draw your circle.   Then draw ten dots in equal proportions straight up from your circle.  These dots represent your uncomfort level on a scale of 1 to 10.  Each time you are confronted with an opportunity that makes you uncomfortable and you take it on, rate it on the scale of 1 to 10 and draw a new circle on that dot and add more dots upward until their are 10 above your circle again.  Then you can actually see your personal growth expansion right before you eyes.   It&#8217;s a cool exercise.</p>
<p>The more opportunites you take on, the more aware you will become and pretty soon, you will be looking for things to expand your being and empower yourself further.  You too will see a new and improved version of yourself developing right before your very eyes.  It&#8217;s a beautiful thing.   Life truly does begin at the edge of your comfort zone.</p>
