Tablet PC or laptop for college?
I am going off to college soon and am looking for a new laptop to get for school. I currently have a Toshiba laptop but the battery life is poor! It barely lasts 10 minutes off of it. I don’t know that happened or what I could be doing to cause that. So, I know that I need a new computer for college. I’ve been looking and saw those nice tablet PC’s. I particularly like Dell’s latitude XT. Also, I think a tablet might be better to have considering that I am planning to minor in animation and/or art. But I’m just concerned that it might be to heavy to haul around.
So, do you recommend I get a laptop or a tablet PC? What particular models do you recommend? Please remember that I need something with a longer battery life. Thank you :].

There basicly the same thing, only the tablet does allow you to write on it. My dad bought a tablet laptop, but he never really uses the tablet part of it, just uses it like a basic laptop. So if I were you I would save the money and just get a laptop and forget the tablet laptop.
