How do I create a hole to jump rings and eye pins in resin jewelry? ?

I am a beginner in the art of resin and after watching videos and tutorials on them, I was very happy to try … until I came across these disturbing questions. ; OY also can someone tell me which could also be used for pigments, and could be used candy molds for resin jewelry? :] Thanks.

I can use a drill small hand I bought Michaels for $ 20 to make my hole antique brass, jumprings, cable, I'm using. It is small and comes with 4 bits of different companies drilling. To color it is best to stay with translucent or opaque pigments, resin, otherwise runs the risk of a chemical reaction between color and pitch. As I'm sure you can guess what might end up in a huge mess. Candy molds can actually be used for molding resin, the first preparation place. Castin of the boat "sells a good air conditioning mold, mold spray, it works, then let dry. You're supposed to repeat the process twice before using the mold. Obviously, if you use a candy mold that has to be designated as a resin mold and not return to the kitchen to make candy. Another couple of tips I have for you, use alcohol or acetone on hand at all times to clean up small spills. Buy disposable craft sticks or popsicle sticks to mix the resin, use only in a well ventilated area and follow the instructions to report exactly resin catalyst. Otherwise, have fun experimenting with the resin, you'll find which can really make unique pieces based on what kind of stories that die in their jewelry.
