Does anyone know of a theatre where Art (by Yasmina Reza) has been performed WITH an intermission?
If there is a theatre that has done it, we would love contact information for that theatre to find out where they put the act break. Thanks.
I don’t really think it should be performed with an intermission. I saw the original production at Lincoln center (well, the original New York production, anyway *g*) and it didn’t strike me as the sort of thing that would benefit from a break. I mean, it’s basically a long argument. If you interrupt it, they won’t go back to fighting. You lose the momentum.
Why do you need one? It isn’t a long play.
