What defines something as art verses craft?
For example a good woodworker is generally considered a fine craftsman. When does woodwork become art (sculpture) and the maker an artist instead of a craftsman? When does a quilt become art?
It usually has to do with whether or not the object being made is intended for use. Personally, I think this line is a little blurry, and artistic movements in the past have celebrated teh intersection of practicality and art.
