When you go camping with Harold, you find the strangest doctrines. May 21, 2011, was proclaimed as the day the return of Jesus Christ some radio stations Christian family.
Set a date for the return of Christ is to put a big accident. Nobody knows the date and time, thus saith the Lord. But there are also other dangerous doctrines promoted by these same people not only false dates for the return of the Lord.
1. The Church Age is over. According to those claim that the Lord will return May 21, 2011, The Church age is over, and all that a Christian should leave his church for all churches are apostate. This is absolutely aggravating than preachers who are trying to get people in the church. And the Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:25 that we should not abandon our meeting and the more we see the day approaching. Now we all agree that the day is coming, but we can not exclude that we must be faithful to the church that the final is near?
2. Only the elect can be saved. If you are not chosen, there is nothing we can do about it. Whether born of the elect of God and is saved therefore, or you're born lost and there is nothing you can do about it. According to them, can not repent. According to them, can not be converted. It is sheer folly. Why Why then come to Jesus to die on the cross for our sins? If those who are saved have been "saved" before birth, then why even preach them? And if you lost a man can do nothing, who tried to save, what hope is there? This is not a very encouraging message to give to someone.
3. Y now fixing the date for the return of Jesus.
I think it's the greatest honor in the world to say three basic truths of the Bible.
1. Jesus died for their sins on the cross.
2. Everyone can be saved by just putting your faith and trust in the work of Christ on the cross.
3. No matter how you were born …. as long as you get Born Again!
