Almost 18, with no period?
I’m almost eighteen. I had exactly one period, the summer between 8th grade and my freshman year of high school. Since then, nothing; hair grows on the sides of my face, too, and it’s getting worse as time goes on. I have to shave my face daily, and I get razor burn from it. However, I’ve had blood tests taken, and the tests show absolutely nothing wrong. Perfect hormone levels, no signs of any genetic problems.
I eat fairly normally and exercise at least an hour a day, though, because art and reading are my favorite hobbies, I’m a little overweight, because those things require me to sit for long periods of time (though the hour of exercise at the gym daily helps). It isn’t because of my weight; consulted a doctor on that already. I was just wondering if anyone has had similar problems, or if anyone understands what’s going on.

First and formost talk to a genochologist, also ask about birth control. Birth control can help with regulating (or helping you maintain one) your period. My best friend has been diagnosed with Polycystic ovary disease and she can’t get her period without medication.
Also hun, check with your dr about how you feel about your weight. They can give you the best guidance on if you are right for your age and height and guide you toward the right exercise.
As a side note, for the razor burn, (I get it on my shins which sucks) try putting a little neosporine on it right after you shave, then after you eat or such (just give it time) then wipe it off with a warm washcloth. Should help!
