Using the colours and appearance of one object in a different shape art technique?
Is there a particular name for when you use the colours and/or general appearance of one object in a different shape (in an art piece, for example) ? I have used small multicoloured mosaic squares (to show a rainbow) but I have arranged them in the shape of a building. Is there a name for this? Thanks for anyone who can help! Peace and love.
Sounds like Surrealism to me.
