If i put together a 1000 or 2000 piece puzzle could i have it framed at Michaels?

or some other arts and crafts store? I thought that since winter is right around the corner I could put a few jigsaw puzzles together and possibly have them framed or something. Like a seasonal hobby.

You should plan ahead before you put the puzzle together. have a couple sheets of foam core on hand so you can slide the finished puzzle onto for transportation purposes. If you want to go one step further; you could trace around the puzzle first. next (2) put a sheet of foam core on top to make a puzzle sandwich (3) turn it over and carefully move the bottom sheet (3)spray or roll on a good quality PVA (Mod Podge or Matt Medium) adhesive inside the traced rectangle and replace back over the upturned puzzle so the glue contacts the puzzle only. (Be careful here not to slop adhesive onto opposing sheet of foam core) Turn it right side up; Check for shifting, put weights on the sandwich till all is dry. You can now frame it without glass unless you want to. Any frame shop can trim the bottom foam core down and fit it to a frame.
