3 P’s To Your Success
Hello from Wisconsin. I hope wherever you are you are enjoying this early December morning and are happily gearing up for the Christmas Holiday. I wanted to initiate this blog with a quick observation I made while day dreaming recently.
I was thinking the other day about some of the key ingredients one must use to succeed in my business and ironically most of them seemed to start with the letter P. I want to share 3 of those with you today.
First and foremost I believe is PASSION. You have to love what you are doing and why you are doing it. You have to love getting out of bed in the morning and getting after it. It must be easy for you to talk about and share. You have to live it and think about it day and day out. What you do must really be a part of you. It must seem like second nature, like the hours fly by when you are involved in it. It may take a bit of searching, but it is well worth it. Your passion is out there.
If this is how it feels for you, you are definitely in the right line of work or business. If you dread go to work, sitting down at your desk, making those phone calls, sending those emails, getting on those conference calls. Then you might want to look at another business or job. People that have the most success in life, jump out of bed and can’t wait to get at it. They can’t wait to tell others about how their life and what they do to make a living. They are being what they are meant to be.
Second, you need Patience. Success rarely happens overnight. When you find the right job or business stick with it. Make adjustments, seek advice, but don’t give up. You should give your occupation your all for at least 18 months before you decision to quit or put your efforts elsewhere. Too many people quit without realizing a simple adjustment here or there or gaining advice from someone who had been through something similiar would have got them over the hump. Worse yet, they quit when they were so close to turning it around. Think Patience.
Third, is Perseverance. You are going to have good days and bad days, but that is life. You can’t know good without bad and vice versa. Look at your work or business as a growing process. Just think of what you will become by perservering and experiencing all the successes and failures. To many people quit when they are so close to achieving success. Hang in there, this experience will make YOU so much more.
I have a sign on my office wall here that reads “Any Dream Worth Having, is a Dream Worth Fighting For. This really sums it up for me. ” Dream BIG, LIVE your life without regrets. Prosper.”

This may be off-topic, but how about changing the layout every now and then? Maybe not if it won’t look right, but I just get tired of seeing the same thing all the time. My own computer has about 1000 wallpapers that randomly rotate every 15 minutes, lol. Adult ADD I guess. Good post though, thanks.

Thanks L. for the suggestions and comments. I do try to change it now and then, but this layout is working for me at the moment so I have decided to stick with it for awhile yet. Hang in there though.
