Why is popcorn sold around Christmas time? Like big 5 pound tin things of it.?
I noticed the boxes year round but never the big tins.
I would imagine that it is because popcorn is a reasonably inexpensive SNACK… the gift for someone you don’t know WHAT to get.
It’s also nice to have around for guests… stuff them with popcorn so they don’t eat all the roast or turkey !!
Those tins make nice storage later on as well.
